  7.   Hello fellow Wormers,

  9.     "Ohh NO, another DIY level for WormsDC", I hear you say, and you
  10.   would be absolutely right! But this one is quite cool I think (excuse
  11.   the modesty!!)
  12.  
  13.     It's a Candy-Land, based on all things sugary and sweet. To be honest,
  14.   I am NO artist, but when (after about 3 months of tweaking) it was
  15.   finished I actually surprised myself. It just goes to show what you can
  16.   do with PPaint 7.1, a lot of time (boredom) and, err, some (slight)
  17.   initial inspiration from the Playstation's Candy-Land. After browsing
  18.   the Internet for some decent DIY Landscapes, I was dissapointed to only
  19.   find about eight that were lucky enough to remain in my prestigious
  20.   (yeah, right) TWDIY drawer! Some of which were CHESS (the palette
  21.   arrangement could be better though), RUINS, WEIRD, FORTUNE, VEGGIE,
  22.   GANJA, BEASTY, SOUTHPARK and FARM. So thanks to the people who made
  23.   those!  Also, thanks to Daniel Polansky for including my land in his
  24.   recent Worms compilation....Cheers.

  26.     In this archive (which ofcourse you have just downloaded...haven't
  27.   you?) is also another Worms goodie; a Cheats menu. This is a single
  28.   executable file which brings up a GUI allowing you to view ALL (I think)
  29.   the cheats in WormsDC!!

  56.   This is the second version of my "Candy Land" to be uploaded to
  57.   Aminet. I have made quite a few modifications since the first one,
  58.   they are as follows:

  60.   o  I have changed the water to gloop (err, I mean chocolate...yeah)
  61.  
  62.   o  The Mountain colours have changed (they too are now chocolate!)
  63.  
  64.   o  The sky colours have completely changed (to match the scene)
  65.  
  66.   o  I have COMPLETELY changed the ground pattern (I used the same
  67.      technique to create it, so it still looks similar).  The ground is now
  68.      TOTALLY seamless (unlike the last one; it was ONE pixel out!!), and
  69.      the pattern now looks better as it is more compact
  70.  
  71.   o  The palette transitions have been made smoother for a much better
  72.      look (noticable in the ground pattern)
  73.  
  74.   o  Some small modifications have been made to some of the objects on
  75.      the landscape (including the cake, lollipop, gob-stopper, and candy
  76.      sticks)

  78.   o  Oh yeah, and my E-Mail address has been changed from my Uni address
  79.      to my Hotmail account (I don't know how much longer I'll be in Uni!)

  84.   I have included 2 DIY files; CANDY & CANDY2
  85.   The ONLY difference between them is the mountain and sky colours.
  86.   CANDY.DIY has the NEW colour scheme, CANDY2.DIY has the original colours.
  87.   So, decide which one you think is best, and name it as CANDY.DIY.
  88.   Personally, I think the new colours are far better, and more appropriate
  89.   to the landscape!!
